An MBA in Marketing and Ph.D. in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) from Indian Institute of Science, Sangeeta has specialized in CSR, Social Marketing and market research.

She was a market researcher with Synovate in Dubai and ACNielsen ORG-MARG ( Now The Nielsen Co.) at Bangalore - before joining ManagementNext in June 2006.

She is a researcher and writer on Management and CSR, and writes in ManagementNext.

She has published academic research papers in international journals and presented her papers in international conferences -on CSR and Social Marketing.

She conducts training workshops on CSR and Social Marketing. Currently she runs a workshop on Social Marketing for Bharatidasan Institute of Management, Bangalore .
